What virus removal program can i get that is free?

i cannot get my norton to work. Whatever virus is on my computer has put norton out of commission. I can't even reload it. I'm getting minint/system32/kdcom.dll error 4. and also when i try to run anything i'm getting rundll error. any suggestions?
